Deadwax, from London, are influenced by The Beatles, Supergrass, Oasis, The Stone Roses, and BRMC.
Their music has been described as "taking you back to the tripped Out 1960s," and "putting a spring
in your step, with a Lennonesque feel to it.

In their short time together they have played the likes of The Camden Crawl, Proud Galleries, 100 Club
Dublin Castle and Wembley. Deadwax's brand of "atmospheric fluorescent indie" offers a "well crafted
arrogance for a heady concoction of Oasis' forcefulness and The Verve's penchant for a meaningful
melody."

Their debut EP is now available to download from iTunes

Pre-production sessions for the record began mid 2010 and saw the band work with legendary producer
Chris Kimsey (Rolling Stones). At the end of the year they entered the studio to record with Snow Patrol
and Belle & Sebastian producer / engineer Phil Tyreman.
